Michael Jackson, CEO of AutoSearch Technologies, a subsidiary of ApogeeInvent, was recently published in the National Independent Automobile Dealers Associations (NIADA) trade magazine "Used Car Dealer." The article titled "Bing vs. Google: Search Engine Giants Move to New Battlefield,"Â deals with the competing search engines effects on used car dealers. As this blog has reported, SEO methods are changing with the release of the newly updated Google search code-named Caffeine. The changes in technology will help the used-car industry become faster and more effective for dealers and consumers who use the internet to find pre-owned vehicles.
An excerpt from the article reads-
"The search engines are always trying to bring the best results to the company's customers as well as expand its own customer base by following the latest market trends. In this day and age, you have to "fish where the fish are."Â Is there a better place than social networking and social media that have millions exposed to your services?"Â
The article goes on to describe the ways in which the evolution of search will impact online car buying. Most important is the effect of Real Time Search Engine Indexing and how it is changing the way consumers traditionally experience the car buying process.
