ApogeeInvent and eWorldMedia present the inaugural Music Matters, a night of live musical performances benefitting p:ear. P:ear, a Portland based organization, provides mentorship opportunities and programs for homeless and transitional youths.

Headlining the event are Portland-based favorites Derby, with Drew Grow and the Pastor's Wives, and Wester Daywick performing as well.

VIPs and other guests will arrive on the red carpet at 5:00 pm, Friday November 20, at the Jupiter Hotel, 800 E Burnside St, Portland. The classic Jupiter Hotel, located adjacent to the Doug Fir Lounge, brims with flavor that can only come from a homegrown Portland venue.

Attendees will have the chance to enjoy delicious freshly prepared seasonal hors d'oeuvres and drink specials in the ridiculously modern Jupiter Hotel event space.

ApogeeInvent and eWorldMedia staffers are excited about "shaking what their mama's gave them" on the dance floor alongside VIPs, performers, and guests on November 20th.

"Expect great local music, yummy local food, and a full night of VIP treatment starting on the red carpet at the Jupiter," says Emmy Harding, the evening's coordinator.

Single tickets for the event are $10 or $15 for VIP tickets, which can be purchased here https://www.apogeehost.com/~apogeein/musicmatters/index.php?ai_sid=72&ai_sid_key=979w730kpx.
